Oh me oh my

Hey, the other day Lime Drop had there store launch in the beautiful GPO building, and me being the scene kid that i am also came along. Apparently im "scene", i dont know what they mean *says whilst burning bowler hat* but seriously. Oh well, cant please everyone. LOL and yet i try.... LAAAAME. lol
Ok so back the the actual topic of this post, multiple personality syndrome aside, Lime Drop. I am lead to believe that its a temporary pop up store so peeps go while its still there, but Im always out of the loops so don't trust me on that one. hahaha. There were soo many people there and obviously the booz was complimentary. Seriously what is with me and drinking? is that all i ever write about? where i got plastered for free? wow what a life i lead, and naturally my 3 and a half readers are 'fascinated' by that. NOT
Anyway here are some pictures before this becomes another 'lets wallow in self pity' post: LOL

TWENTY EIGHT

Hey! Last night i went to the RMIT fashion exhibition. It was soooo good! It was held in the old disheveled hotel thing above the Carlton club. The graduates all had rooms in which they displayed there garments in an instillation. We all wandered from room to room, but bloody hell was it hot. Sweating like a pig i was along with other students and teachers and parents. It was a beautiful bonding moment, really. LOL
The works were fantastic, i was shitting myself as i wandered looking at the fruits of there labor. They are seriously talented. I think these sorts of things are great, especially because they give me drive and motivation as well as heart palpitations. I was talking to this girl Monday night at public bar, as you do, and as we are both Russian we both understood the genetic desire to achieve as well as the conditioning to be the best in the 'new' country from a young age. lol. For example, back in the day, if i was to say: get 97% on a test my parents wouldn't say: 'Congratulations! have an icy-pole.' they would say: 'well done, but why not 100%?'  I remember when i would go for walks with my dad in primary school, he would always ask me times tables. lol He was a touch disappointed when i quit maths in year 10. Im a creative type, you see... hahahahah
Mother eeff, ranting again.
Anyway, latter that night i met up with some other fashion students and we went to Shanghai dumplings. Me being the dickhead that i am, accidentally misguided the amount of vegetarians at the table and ordered too many servings of fried pork dumplings. So there we were in a predicament, we ate sooooo many effing dumplings and now i think iv reached my lifetime allowance for dumplings. Nice one Vlad. lol, in the end we had an entire serving left over so we fed it to some aggressive possums at the Carlton gardens, whilst sipping on the finest 'Fruity Lexia' Sunnyvale had to offer. Good times, good times!
Here are the pictures: i must warn, i did get a bit trigger happy with the camera, so there are lots of pictures. lol

Somewhere... over the rainbow

HI HI!
Last night was the opening of the new mad cool store called 'Somwhere', and naturally i made it my business to be there, if anything for the free booz. lol It was really nice, sooo many people were there and as it happens our combined body heat made the actual store impossibly hot. So we all kinda spilled out onto the road for unnecessary smokes, with a bottle of VB 'RAW' in one hand (product placement, now just waiting for the checks to role in, hahaha) and a Marlboro cigarette in the other (wow, double wammie!!). Classy. Saw some really amazing people who i havn't seen in a while, stalked facehunter for a bit more. LOL. Afterward, some friends and i went to a park and drank beer. It was nice.
I think my camera and i are starting to resolve our issues, just thought you guys should know. its still a slut, but it my slut now. hahahah

BOOO YOU WHORE

Hey guys!!
Sorry i havnt posted in a while, iv just been a lazy shit. lol
Anyway the other week, i went to the Melbourne Theater Comapany's garage sale. It was incredible!! Sooo many costume and props for sale, and for obscenely cheep prices!!! So i was there, rummaging through the many racks and i found these two amazing jackets, one was this navy blue nylon thing, with elasticated back, and the other was a military style pea-coat. They were $10 each. Bargan! Well, some sad excuse for a human being FUCKING STOLE THEM FROM MY BOX!!!!!!!!!!!!! *smashes fist onto table* I was not pleased to say the least, so i angrily wandered inkling for a fight. I was, no joke, looking at what people had found in hopes of a confrontation over my lost love. Thinking back now, i may have over reacted. Lucky that i didnt find them because the scene would have been ugly. But seriously, who does that?!!! WHORE!
Anyway, i found a cool pair of knee high men's riding boots in a fantastically disheveled condition for $5! So that kinda made me feel better. Here they are: lol
That day in general was quite tedious, connex was being a bitch, and Jov's birthday in Geelong (LOL) was fun, yet sooo messy. For the record i never want to step foot in 'the Nash' again.
But anyway, i gotsta run!

Hola,
so went to the X&Y magazine launch the other night. It was pretty exciting! From the emotional speeches i gather that its a labor of love, and a cool up and commeing magazine! The event was at some place, Trak Cinema i believe, and it took me for ever to get there. Im geographically challanged so i got lost just outside once there, i wandered for a good 20 minuts, like usual. Did get some wired looks from some builders. There i met lots of cool Melbournians like Alexi Freeman and Nadia! soo funny, we discussed names and junk. and i have to say that im pretty damn pumped for this Tropicarnage party!! Also met FACEHUNTER!!!!! despite what iv heard, he is a really nice guy!! he took my picture cos im cool like that. hahahahahha. i kinda felt bad for Melbourne, cos realistically we are in the middle of a heat wave, and the fashions there were less than impressive, he probably thinks all of melbourne is that offensively dressed. hahahaha, it wasnt quite that bad, but... eeek
Afterward we all caught a cab to Richmond (Yvan Rodic included), had some awkward moments, but other than that the night was quite fun! Also the large tab and gourmet catering was well appreciated, hahah. No party pies or sossage roles for us classy people!! LOL
Its so funny because last time Facehunter was in Australia, i was so lame (hmm, i wander what has changed..lol) that dressed up and went wandering the streets trying to 'stumble' upon him. bahaha. obviously me being a douche, i didnt find him (probably for the best). At the time was bit disappointed, cut myself, lol i kid. And this time i was lucky enough to meet him properly and even chill for a period of time. lol yeeeaaaahhhh! here are some pics:
Adios!

Hallucination

OK, so this post wasn't the same day i promised it, but in my defense i had to go to my best friends birthday at a substandard Mexican restaurant, although the nachos were nice. I've come to the conclusion that either the additives in alcoholic drinks are becoming more and more corrosive for the mind or I've just discovered my secret talent to foresee the future but either way, i had a crazy ass mother fucking beast of an apocalyptic dream. I cant quite remember everything that happened but there were exploding dolphins and tsunamis and other friendly things like that. I think i fell of a 100 meter cliff as well somewhere in the dream. Anyway, i know deep down you guys don't really care about my alcohol problems, so here are some rushed fashion illustrations from my last prototype to soften the blow. Hope ya'll like my them! hahaha :D

Thank god for orange juice

Why hello there,
last night was the opening of the RMIT first year photography exhibition and i went to support my close friend Giles who's work was brilliant. There are some very talented up and coming photographers i have to say, but i wouldn't know cos this little piggy got at the booz. Again and again making a fool of himself. LOSER!! lol. The night was good, most good to be exact. Well the start anyway. At the Gallery i met up with Izabel and we chilled the whole night, had a nice d&m about how much we hate stuff, cos we're cool like that. Shes such a smart and talented girl, watch out for her! That part of the night was good, saw some people who i haven't seen in ages like the lovely Alyce (last post i totally just discovered the link option, so deffs abusing it today lol) who can make what is an excessive amount of McDonald's litter look amazing and whimsical with just a camera phone. Saw Austin, who is fucking insanely talented and makes me cry cos hes that talented, Rhysie was there aka Rhys Ripper and a multitude of other cool, hip, happening, radical, dope people. Wasn't sure if that was enough adjectives but in this hung over state my poor little brain strains itself to think of more. lol i totally know iv forgotten to mentioning other people but seriously i can barely stand today, let alone think. Sorry for that.
OMG at Sister Bella's some dish pig threw our beers into the rubbish bin after forcibly removing them from our hands. BASTARD!!! *shakes fist*. What a fuck-tard. We decided to remind him of his duties as the dish pig at which point he decided to refresh us with soapy water. We chuckled as i gypsy cursed his family, and here i am now bitching about it on my blog. LOL yeah, he learned his lesson! hahahahaha
Afterward Izabel and i had a near death experience catching public transport to Seven the metro club thing. Hahahah that was an experience. Certainly something else. But look, with free entry and free drinks, thank you Izabel! ;) one cant complain.
Anyway, i tried to keep this rant under control, cos seriously who can be fucked reading, i know i can't! LOL
Till next time, which might even be today cos: i had a crazy alcohol induced dream that needs sharing. But we'll see how i go, i am a little bit lazy...
